Your Questions About Creating A Will For Free

Michael asks…

Best free site to create will?

I would like to create a legitimate will online for free, it would be fairly simple and I don’t believe that I need an attorney for it. I checked out doyourownwill.com which looks legit, does anyone have any experience with this site or another that could be better?

MonroyPro answers:

Despite how simple you may think it is, it really is best for a lawyer to make your will. My in-laws used a site like that, and when my FIL died, the way it was worded, everything went to my husband, not my MIL. Of course he issued it all directly to his mother, but a less scrupulous person may not have.

Mandy asks…

How can I create my own will for free?

I am single and need to prepare a will in case of ………..

MonroyPro answers:

Simply write on paper and seal it in a envelope.
You may keep sealed envelope with your Bank Manager, with clear instruction to act in a particular manner, in case of …
Alternatively, get the written document Registered with Registrar of Wills.

Sharon asks…

Does God interfere or not? What are some arguments for and against a world of free will created by God?

First of all, I do not believe in any gods.

Okay, now for the question.

If God allows free will, why do people ask for anything with prayer? If the world is truly run on free will, then he will never answer any prayer requests.

But if he does interfere, why does he allow such terrible things to occur in the world? Why doesn’t every individual have a fair chance at life?

Is God so obsessed with allowing free will that he just leaves the unfortunate to live painful lives and die early?

Is God really more concerned about whether Timmy will get a new bicycle for Christmas than he is about the people suffering in Haiti?

Any views would be appreciated, but please, don’t deviate from the subject at hand.
“forgiven490″, that was a very useless answer, I want to know why you think that’s the case. I need arguments, not just blatant statements.
“forgiven490″, what about the people who are punished for no reason? Take Haiti for instance, surely not everyone that was hit by the quake was a horrible person?

MonroyPro answers:

Not exactly.

Free will would include the freedom to submit to God’s guidance and ask for his assistance. Free will would include the freedom to give God permission to interfere in YOUR life. As such, God can grant any request that doesn’t require him to violate the free will of another person…and he repeatedly promised to do so.

The perspective above also addresses your next question…he allows terrible things to happen because he allows everyone to live their lives without interference from him…because he chooses to intervene only when he is invited to do so AND only in ways that are consistent with his objectives. After all, God has free will too and he’s under no obligation to give any of us something that he knows will harm us just because we want it!

Every individual doesn’t have a “fair” chance at life because choices made by other human beings…choices that are invariably inconsistent with God’s instructions and ultimately cause harm to themselves and to future generations. Free will does not mean freedom from consequences. The way WE choose to organize our societies, relate to other people, govern ourselves, and much much more is what determines the opportunities available to a person in this lifetime.

You do realize that if every person on this planet who claims (or has ever claimed) to be following Jesus actually followed his instructions and his example, there would be no hunger or thirst or lack of shelter on this planet. Yes, there would still be “natural disasters”, wars, diseases, crime, and other things that cause suffering and death but there would always be more than enough resources available to provide comfort and care for all the victims to minimize their suffering and provide them with opportunities to rebuild their lives.

Note the quotes around “natural disasters” above…I would tend to include even natural disasters in the list of things on this planet that cause suffering that were ultimately caused by human beings not by God. Chaos theory suggests that in a complex system, a butterfly flapping its wings in Brazil can cause a hurricane in Florida. Certainly the system God designed was complex…that begs the question of just how much damage to that system…just how many deviations from the initial conditions of the system God designed…could human beings cause since they started flapping their wings on this planet?

As for the bicycle versus Haiti, I would say that it is obvious from even the secular news reports, that God is directing significantly more resources toward the people in Haiti than he is toward Timmy’s bike. Timmy can get his bike at Wal-mart for $60…the amount of money some Christian organizations have collected to help the victims in Haiti is staggering. I’m not saying that Christians are the only ones giving…just saying that he’s obviously directing his followers to help them to the tune of millions of dollars of aid. Heck, the way I understand it, he already had dozens of teams on the ground in Haiti before the earthquake hit…teams that were already providing essential resources like food and water using resources God provided through his followers!

George asks…

Free Will writing?

Is there an internet site which will provide a free template for creating a Will.

MonroyPro answers:

Have you tried typing into google “free will template”?

Joseph asks…

Does an all-knowing God know how to create a people with free-will AND a world without suffering?

Given that He would also be all-powerful, couldn’t He create such a world?

If so, as a benevolent deity, why didn’t He?

If not, is He not all-knowing?

NOTE: Let’s just suspend the paradoxical elements of omnipotence/omniscience/free-will for a moment.

MonroyPro answers:

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?”
